What do you want to build today, tomorrow ...?

Laborer: Lotspeich has several levels of Laborer. Beginning with Labor Helper, which is an entry level position responsible for performing physical labor, such as assisting with deliveries and loading and unloading trucks. Ending with Labor Crew Chief, responsible for supervising a crew of Laborers on a job site and maintaining proper delivery and handling of materials on a job.
Apprentice: The Apprentice has a variety of fields in which to work. Each field has its own set of progressive skill sets for advancement. The fields include the Drywall, Ceiling, Door and Hardware as well as the Plaster and Stucco trades. Each respective trade starts an Apprentice as a helper to a Mechanic, while providing the time and opportunity to learn his specific trade, and offering advancement to the Mechanic level.
Mechanic: Mechanics at Lotspeich must be knowledgeable in all aspects of installation in their respective trade. They must be able to read blueprints, shop drawings and specifications. A qualified Mechanic should be able to perform his project duties unsupervised and to a high degree of standard, which is part of the Lotspeich reputation. Career path advancement moves into the responsibilities of being a Lead Mechanic and then a Project Foreman within a Mechanics trade
Lead Mechanic: As a Lead Mechanic you will be performing the same tasks as a Mechanic, with the added responsibilities of training the Mechanics and Apprentices under your supervision, while exhibiting a level of conduct and quality, which is expected of Lotspeich employees.
Project Foreman: If you are or become a skilled craftsman with supervisory capabilities, you have the possibility of being a Lotspeich Project Foreman. You have to be able to supervise a crew of Mechanics, Apprentices and Laborers, while being accountable for project efficiency and employee safety on the job. You must be able to perform skilled craftsman work, plan work for your crew, project schedules, train workers and complete all necessary paperwork.
